On Thursday we went up to Logan to take McKay and Jen's engagement photos. It was a fun trip, although we wished that more of the leaves had changed. We took some "fun" pictures of them kissing and jumping off the "A." For those of you who don't know the story behind the "A," the term "True Aggie" is given to those who kiss their love on the "A" either on homecoming, A-Day, or on a full moon. On homecoming or A-Day, neither kisser needs to be a True Aggie. However, when the moon is full each month, one person must already be a True Aggie in order to pass on the tradition to the other. In case this is forgotten, a plaque is placed on the base of the platform explaining the rules! Yeah, kind of silly, but the tradition started in 1916, and it will live on forever!
Anyway, we got some good photos, and hopefully a few of them will suffice for their wedding announcement. We went out to Firehouse Pizzeria afterwards, and it was the best pizza we ever had!
